Experience the magic of the holiday season with The Greater Salem Ballet Company’s 12th Annual production of The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the historic Lynn Memorial Auditorium. This beloved North Shore holiday tradition combines professional-quality choreography, lavish costumes, and the timeless music of Tchaikovsky to create an unforgettable family experience.
A North Shore Holiday Tradition
For over a decade, The Greater Salem Ballet Company has brought the enchantment of The Nutcracker to thousands of families across the North Shore. This year’s production features stunning new creative touches while preserving the classic story that has captivated audiences for generations. Follow young Clara on her magical Christmas Eve journey, brave the battle between mice and soldiers, marvel at the growing Christmas tree, and glide through the snow-covered forest to the dazzling Palace of Sweets.
The production showcases both professional dancers from The Boston Ballet and talented young performers from communities throughout the North Shore, including Salem, Lynn, Marblehead, Swampscott, Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, and Nahant. Young dancers ages 5 to 17 perform alongside seasoned professionals in this high-caliber production, creating a truly special community celebration of the performing arts.
