What to expect
Learn How to Paint Petrykivka Art on holiday ornaments! You don’t need to be an artist to attend this event. Everyone is welcome. All skill levels! All proceeds go toward Ukrainian humanitarian aid through Dobro New England.
What is Petrykivka? The people of the village of Petrykivka, Ukraine, decorate their living quarters, household belongings, and musical instruments with a style of ornamental painting that is characterized by fantastic flowers and other natural elements, based on careful observation of the local flora and fauna.
Enjoy complimentary wine imported from Ukraine as artist Svitlana Rozghon provides instruction as well as the materials needed for you to make your own Petrykivka art. You will go home with an ornament with your own Petrykivka design on it!
