See the 1668 mansion lavishly decorated and learn about the history of how Christmas came to be. Why did the Puritans ban Christmas? When did New Englanders start putting up Christmas trees? Why did Christmas become a federal holiday? What traditions did Polish and French-Canadian immigrants celebrate in the 1800s? Learn the answers to these questions and learn to honor Christmas in your heart and keep it all the year.
Tickets are $30 for Gables members and $35 for the general public.
